An elopement in Douro Valley

This elopement editorial was very special. I have wanted to photograph and film in that location for a long time, and at the same time I also wanted to show that simplicity is sometimes all we need. That’s why I invited a real couple to let themselves be photographed by me and when I look at these photos that’s all I see, that it doesn’t take much more than love between two people to have photos like that. Love is overwhelming in itself and that’s enough!
