Have I ever told you how much I love a modern wedding? Yes, I obviously know that I’ve said it countless times before, but if there’s something I really enjoy is seeing couples just following their own rules when it comes to this special day!
The project I bring you today is a great example of it. This was a ceremony in Fuerteventura and the wedding was really something! Fuerteventura is one of the Canary Islands and has a vibe that combines beach, desert and green nature, something that was quite present in the entire wedding.
Wedding Photography: A Modern Wedding in the Canary Islands
First of all, I have to tell you how much I love the wedding dress. The bride chose a very simple and elegant yet cutting-edge design from Chana Marelus that matches perfectly with the vibes of this modern wedding.
Then, the decor. Sometimes less is more and this modern wedding shows us exactly that! The tables of the wedding reception were decorated only with candles, and the nature vibe was present in the napkin embellishment in a very soft and elegant way.
In this project I let myself be inspired by the modern vibes of the wedding and decided to do a more editorial shoot. I feel that these pictures could easily be featured in a fashion magazine (Vogue, are you there? ahahah).
Besides the modern vibe of the wedding, one of the things I loved most was precisely the opportunity and freedom to create what it felt right for me. How lucky I am, right?
