Wedding Photography: A Romantic Wedding in Ireland

If you’re looking for inspiration for a romantic wedding, I think you come to the right place!

I know that I always talk about how much I love modern and cutting-edge weddings, but that’s just a matter of personal taste. I think weddings are beautiful, as long as the ceremony fits the taste and expectations of the couple. It’s their happiness that really matters and makes the most important part of a wedding.

Are you ready to see this beautiful traditional ceremony? Check out some of my favourite photographs of this romantic wedding!

Michelle and Al: A Romantic Wedding in Ireland

So, this is one of those weddings where the tradition has become really beautiful and special. Last year, I was invited to photograph this romantic wedding in Ireland. The bride, Michelle, and the groom, Al, chose to exchange vows in the Killruddery House & Gardens.

I think it’s important to talk a little bit about the space itself, since I fell in love with their choice. Killruddery House & Gardens is an elegant 17th century mansion, with incredibly beautiful gardens. Here you’ll find five different space options for weddings, depending on the number of guests.

In this case, Michelle and Al decided to get married in The Orangery, a Victorian conservatory that is just dreamy. In this space you’ll find some marble statues, inspired by the Renaissance gardens of Italy, that add a romantic and classical style.

It was really a pleasure to be part of this lovely ceremony and get to know this incredible venue in Ireland. I have to thank Jessica Soares, from Under The Veil, for the invitation to collaborate with her in this wedding!
